The Immediate Life Support (ILS) course is a 1 Day course which allows students to develop their knowledge and skills in providing immediate life support to patients in cardiorespiratory arrest or experiencing life-threatening illness and injury

If you work as an emergency care provider in an emergency care setting, expected to assess patients, administer medication and monitor the effects of the medication, this qualification will provide you with the practical skills and underpinning knowledge to do so safely. It is also used as CPD to retain the FREC Level 4 Qualification on an annual basis.

Topics include:

airway management, ILS procedures, ILS treatment algorithms, modifications required

during cardiac arrest, end of life care and more.
